Capitol Marketplace Events is a full promotions and management company bringing the Washington DC metropolitan area high quality events, shows, and markets.

We are just about to list some very exciting hometown neighborhood events; hope you can join us. These are events that represent the community partners we work with and ideas we represent.

We love what we do! We hope to have you join our family either as a patron, exhibitor or sponsor.

Sign up for Marketplace Events newsletters to the left or join our Exhibitor List and be invited to participate in upcoming events.

The Big Cherry Block Party in Silver Spring will no longer be happening. Due to contractual demands from the National Cherry Blossom Organization, Silver Spring and us can not afford to produce this show.

We are sad to see this show end, but when we have more news we will update our exhibitors.

Presents:

34th Adam’s Morgan Day Festival

Art on Belmont

Sunday September 9th, 2012

Belmont Street is a tree lined shaded street that hosts 45 fine art and craft exhibitors. This is a juried section of the festival and draws a large and devoted crowd. Over 35,000 people visited last year, and we are constantly growing.

Art on Belmont is open 10am-7pm which is two hours earlier than the 18th Street section. This allows for early shoppers and extra time to prepare for the huge crowds.

We limit the amount of exhibitors for each medium and also try and create a diverse mix within a certain medium. Many exhibitors return every year to Belmont, but there are always many new artists who add to the great mix.

Applications Will Be Up In The Spring.

Downtown Silver Spring: Ellsworth Drive

Silver Spring, Maryland

This popular commercial district celebrates “celebra” the month of Hispanic Heritage. With a large Latino population in Silver Spring and larger representation in Montgomery County as well as a part of the diverse consumer footprint of this  corridor, the fiesta starts here. Not unlike most Latino Festivals, the event will offer some of the best in Latin American food, music, dance and culture. What distinguishes this event from others will be the diversity in Latino countries represented through samplings of the twenty-one Latin American countries of the world in fine cuisine, art and culture. The event is free to the public including music, entertainment and activities.

Applications will be up in late spring.
